Shedding is normal with our styling heads (1-3 g), especially during the first few uses. For the initial brushing or combing, you may notice more shedding as any loose strands from the manufacturing process are removed. In the care instructions, we recommend washing the hair and gently combing through it with a wide-tooth comb to help remove any loose strands.

The material you’ve noticed is filling residue, which can sometimes remain during the manufacturing process when the hair is being threaded onto the doll. Although our quality assurance team takes care to remove it, occasional oversights can occur. The filling material is not harmful and it can easily be scraped off using a comb or gently removed by hand.
